The trip starts from the pier of Puerto Ayora, on Santa Cruz Island. A boat will take you to the first stop, called Canal del Amor, to appreciate the beautiful landscape and then to the Canal de las Tintoreras, where you can see the sharks resting close to each other. You will also come across blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, red rock crabs and lava herons.
Moving on, you will visit a place called Los Perros beach, where there are the largest iguanas in Santa Cruz Island. The guide will explain everything about the flora and fauna of this beautiful place. The first snorkeling spot is Punta Estrada , where you will see a lot of colorful fish, sea lions and sea turtles.
By the end of the tour, you will visit a place called Las Grietas. It is one of the most famous places on the island, known for its two large rocks separated by brackish water, a mixture of sea water with freshwater that comes down from the upper part of Santa Cruz Island. You will see many types of fish in its crystal-clear waters. After snorkeling, the boat will take you to Puerto Ayora. The main point of the Bahia tour is seeing a lot of flora and fauna.
