Kicker Rock or Leon Dormido is a volcanic rock formation named in Spanish after its resemblance to a sleeping lion. It’s 144 meters high (above mean sea level). The rocks form an exceptional channel suitable for swimming, diving, snorkeling, and observing various species. Take a day tour and observe sea turtles, fish, manta rays, hammerhead sharks, and more.

The yacht trip starts from the pier on San Cristobal Island and lasts approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Leon Dormido, the crew will help you with the snorkeling equipment so you can observe sea turtles, colorful fish, Galapagos sharks, and more.
The waters in Kicker Rock are filled with marine life. This place is considered one of the best for snorkeling in Galapagos, since in its surroundings there are schools of hammerhead sharks, as well as dolphins.
By the end of the excursion, you will visit a beautiful beach called Manglecito, where you can rest and relax in its calm waters and white sand. You will be accompanied by several sea lions resting in the surroundings.
