The trip to the Cabo Rosa Tunnels starts from Puerto Villamil, on Isabela Island. The first stop is Roca Union, a rock where you can see seabirds such as blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, pelicans and also sea lions.
The bay called El Finado is filled with of marine life. This is the first snorkeling point, where you can spot many sea turtles that are resting or eating in the surroundings. In addition, with a little luck, you will see beautiful seahorses, as well as several colorful fish and whitetip reef sharks. After snorkeling, the navigation continues to the tunnels. The navigation lasts an hour. On several occasions, dolphins have been observed playing and jumping along the boat.
When you arrive at Los Tuneles, you can see sea lions resting on volcanic lava rocks. Sometimes, they approach visitors who are swimming in these calm waters. There, you can also find sea turtles and Galapagos penguins. After snorkeling in Los Tuneles, the crew awaits you with a delicious lunch.
